XCID 2, the automatic pre-sterilization cleaning device

Ensuring asepsis and controlling the risk of infection are of increasing concern to health professionals and patients alike. Instruments are the “Achilles heel” of the asepsis chain. Only instruments that are clean and dry can be properly sterilized. X-Cid 2 is an automatic cleaning device with disinfecting properties that prepares handpieces, contra-angles and turbines for sterilization.

X-Cid 2 automatically pre-desinfects*, cleans and lubricates handpieces, contra-angles and turbines with no disassembly required, in approximately 30 minutes using X-Cidol 2, a detergent-disinfectant. Treated instruments are clean and in perfect working order, ready to be packaged and sterilized.

* X-Cidol 2 acts as a detergent, bactericide, fungicide, turbercolicidal and virucide (see certificate).
