K Files : non-sterile manual stainless-steel files
K Files may be used for manual root canal treatments, as well as for mechanized ones. In addition as a valuable complement to Nickel-Titanium files to achieve the scouting of the root canal with K Files before the shaping step. K Files are used to determine the working length, with or without the use of an electronic apex locator, also help remove the primary mechanical constraints through an enlargement action.
